North Ipswich Neighbourhood WatchThe North Ipswich Neighbourhood Watch has been established since 2001. Our Police Liaison Officer, Acting Senior Constable Mick Abbott, is based in the local North Ipswich Police Beat at 26 Hill Street, North Ipswich.

Statistics indicate that where there is a strong working Neighbourhood Watch program, there is an overall reduction in the volume of crime committed in that area.

Neighbourhood Watch is about you, your local neighbourhood, the wider community and the Queensland Police working together to establish and maintain a safer community by:

  • reducing violence, crime and fear;
  • building a safer community;
  • preventing crime that affects you;
  • enhancing effective communication;
  • developing community spirit.
  • Please take the time to browse through our website which we believe is an online resource for you to use to help you maintain a safer community in North Ipswich.
